Sudcub

In the Roman conquest of Dakias, the legions needed strong Pokémon to support their military campaign. After much consideration, it's said that Trajan himself ordered for the lion species in Moesia to be migrated into Dakias. His reasoning was that while the species was failing in Moesia due to the amount of flying predators, it could find greater success up north. Sudcub is known to have been trusted with the legionnaires by its parents. This led to famous humorous paintings depicting Roman legionnaires in these communities.

In the modern day, Sudcub spends its time with shepherds and helps them redirect their animals by roaring ferociously. After decades of human contact, they formed a bond with the region.
