After Bulkaur consumes excessive amounts of Spinarak, its body is subjected to various amounts of poison. The pain inflicted on its body is so severe that it causes the pokemon to become unreasonably aggressive. Stiotriver releases its pent up anger on unevolved pokemon, often first-stage evolutions that can't fight back. Unlike Bullaur, Stiotriver is known to chop up its victims with its sharp tail tip. Finding a wild Stiotriver is the sign of famine in many places, and usually the strongest trainers gather to get rid of it.
